Who is Be Bold Street Ministries?

Matt Maceira

Executive Director

Matt was driving over the bridge to West Salem, asking God's purpose for him when Be Bold Street Ministries was laid upon his heart. He immediately pulled into Rite Aid and grabbed a couple cases of water and started handing them out under the bridge, sharing the hope of Jesus. Today he operates Be Bold Street Ministries with the same personal care. Every day Matt is out on the streets, sharing the hope of Jesus with a lost and dying world.

Josh Lair

After 20 years of addiction Christ met Josh in a prison cell and has set him free from addiction now for over 8 years. He was called to go back into the darkness that Christ saved Him from. He is a certified counselor, works with the Salem Police to deescalate interactions with the homeless community, and has been with Be Bold Street Ministries since 2016. Josh brings a huge network of connections to the ministry.

Andrew Gauger

Vice President

Andrew administers Be Bold Street Ministries technology and donations. He met Jesus in addiction on the streets of Salem himself. His marriage was saved by Jesus Christ and shares the hope of restoration.

Teri Gregson

As long as I can remember I have had a heart for the downtrodden and under dogs God has put in my path. Be Bold Street miniseries seemed like the perfect fit to combine my love for those less fortunate and the gift God has given me as a bookkeeper! Thankful to serve in this capacity. All glory to Him!

Carly Lair

Trapped in the darkness of addiction with intense feelings of unworthiness and not belonging from the age of 12, Carly sought help from different resources and at many years clean and sober she still carried much guilt and shame and fell to addiction once again. It was at the point of complete hopelessness that she cried out and just as He promises, God heard her cries. Today she seeks God first before all things and has a heart transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has seen firsthand that there is no case too tough and no heart too hard that God can not intervene and create beauty from ashes. Her passion is to reach out to the lost and share with them the hope they can find in Jesus.

Keith Dehut

International Ministries Coordinator

Keith has been traveling internationally since 2012 to fulfill Jesus's command in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations....and all means all as Jesus desires all to come to a saving knowledge of His sacrifice. He has trained many pastors and church leaders in a discipleship model that teaches and challenges new followers of Christ to ask the Holy Spirit to help understand scripture and to share their testimony to family, friends and neighbors. It is very humbling to watch God use these new disciples to witness to His lost children.
