Every month is a great month. August just happens to be a "full" as we are wrapping up the summer, involved with a variety of events, activities, and celebrations. From community outreach programs to fundraising events, the month was filled with opportunities for involvement and support. Below are some of the highlights from this past month, including some photos and a YouTube video with Pastor Matt Macollin.

August 2: Praise God! Tonight at Aidan and Lauren's wedding rehearsal Xavier got saved and was given his first Bible. He was also directly connected to a portion of the Body of Christ at my home church, Salem Heights Church. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
August 8: Praise God! Thank You God for these moments with Betty and Bianca from Salem Housing Authority. It was a great blessing serving our neighbors with them yesterday! All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
August 10: Praise God! Today putting feet to the byways with a bunch of family from the Body of Christ! Neighbors got saved today! We came together as co-laborers in pursuit of the great commission. Thank you to all who served from Grace Bible Fellowship, Church On The Hill, Jefferson Baptist Church, Salem Heights Church, Calvary Chapel Salem, Adult and Teen Challenge, Soaring Heights Recovery Homes, Solid Rock, Kindness Closet, Grace Community Church, and family from Prineville and Portland. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!!
August 13: Praise God! Thank you Salem Housing Authority for having us at your event today. Today was filled with many blessings and much to be thankful for! All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
August 14: Praise God! This is Derek he recently graduated the NLF program at the UGM. And yesterday he moved into his own apartment! About a year and a half ago I got a call from a Salem Police Officer saying that he believed Derek was ready for change and asked if I could come meet with him. I left where I was and met them on Fisher Rd where Derek was super high on meth and using fentanyl! That evening he made the decision to be seen at the Psychiatric Crisis Center. On March 8th we called Bridgeway detox, and he made the decision to say yes. I then spoke with Steven Hill at the UGM to get arrangements made for Derek to go straight from Detox to the UGM. On the way to the UGM I encouraged Derek to start attending The Most Excellent Way Christ centered addiction Victory group and get plugged into Church. He started attending TMEW and Salem Heights Church. Derek and I are still walking this life out together and James Farmer from Jefferson Baptist Church joined us about the 8-month mark and many others have and are walking with him as well. Derek continued to make the decision to say yes to these healthy options. This is a glimpse of what takes place that is not known to most unless they’re helping in the process. Above all else Derek said yes to the free gift of salvation during the moments mentioned above. Derek is walking out the newness of life as new man in Christ and he is still a work in progress. Derek has not used anymore deadly substances. Thank you to all the folks listed here and the many others who helped along the way! God bless you all!! August 15: Praise God! Our dear sisters in Alaska with some new gear! We are so thankful for our eternal impact partner Adult and Teen Challenge! All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!!

August 21: Praise God! A bunch of youth and youth leaders from Emmanuel Bible Church put feet to the byways with us today. It was awesome co-laboring with our brothers and sisters today from EBC in pursuit of the great commission. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
Praise God! What a blessing it was at our summer fundraiser! Thank you to everyone who was in attendance. Thank you to Pastor Matt MacCollin, Sheriff Nick Hunter, Mayor elect Julie Hoy, Commissioner Danielle Bethell, Aidan Sorrells, and Dan Farrington for sharing. August 25: Praise God! Putting feet to the highways and byways! Family from Jefferson Baptist Church, Calvary Chapel Salem, Athey Creek Church, Grace Fellowship Church, Solid Rock Community Church, Ones Purpose and Gateway Foursquare Church came together in pursuit of the fulfillment of the great commission. A couple folks made the decision to enter the Gospel mission in Eugene. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!!
Praise God! Today at the IGNITE concert with family from Acres of Hope, and Soaring Heights Recovery Homes. The location is the Volcanoes Stadium with 104.1 The Fish FM. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
August 27: Praise God! Yesterday puttin feet to the byways as co-laborers in pursuit of the great commission with some of my family from Church on The Hill! The Word of God was shared, prayers were prayed, and much needed items were provided to some of our neighbors. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
