Philippines Trip: April 28-March 5

Be Bold Street Ministries has been blessed with the opportunity to work alongside local churches in the Philippines. In partnership with RCGGM Ministries, Be Bold comes alongside pastors in the Philippines to work in drug outreach programs and street evangelism.

During this brief trip, we will be preparing for our primary 2020 service trip and festival. We will be updating this post every day while we are there and will regularly share photos and active prayer requests. We invite you to watch for updates and to pray with us as we prepare to leave and while we are there--that God would use us to further the Gospel and see many people saved. You can also Follow us on Facebook to see live videos from our team in the field.

UPDATE: 3/4

This is some of what God let us be apart of yesterday as we were able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our testimonies with two different tribes who inhabit the mountains, and over a hundred people accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, including the chief of one of the tribes. We were able to provide much needed items for them by way of God's provision.

Last night we celebrated collectively with the body of Christ what God let us be apart of here in Olongapo with our dear brothers and sisters with RCGGM and OCMA and for our partnership in ministry--all for the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ THE Son of God THE Savior of the world. We prayed for the upcoming mission trip in July of this year.

UPDATE: 3/3

Please Continue to lift us up. We have seen 924 people give their lives to Jesus Christ on this trip—absolutely amazing. From all walks of life—from those incarcerated in jails to public officials to kids in high school. Please continue to lift up our team. Lift up Gary, the entire team, our dear brothers and sisters here with RCGGM, our dear brothers and sisters here in Olongapo with the Pastors Alliance. We looking forward to what He is going to do today. We know that the prayers of the righteous can accomplish much. With any trip, no matter where we go, a preliminary trip is no less of a trip. We have gotten to see so many saved by faith in Jesus Christ. Please pray for our new brothers and sisters who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

This is just one of the awesome opportunities God let us be apart of yesterday as we were able to share the Gospel and our testimonies and then see 60 men during this prison outreach respond by accepting the free gift of salvation by placing their faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Savior of the world.

Another amazing opportunity from God to be able share about His transformative power with all of these officers and to share the Gospel and see these officers respond to the call as they accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Please pray for our new sisters 75 who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior yesterday! God is doing amazing things in the Philippines.

Please pray for all our new brothers that said yes to the free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God the Savior of the world and His perfect sacrifice on the cross. Below are some photos from our visit to a prison.

The Lord has provided us so many amazing opportunities to pray with and for church leaders all over Olongopo. Please lift up our dear brothers and sisters. The Lord is using them in amazing ways, and to be able to hear about all the ministries they're doing that are focused on the furtherance of the Gospel is truly a blessing. To able to partner with the OCMA is truly a blessing.

UPDATE: 3/2

This morning we found out that almost 700 people said yes to the free gift of salvation yesterday in the Philippines! This is due to faithfulness and prayer. When we say yes to the free gift of salvation, we are 100% secure. The Bible says that when we die, we will be in the presence of our Maker! So knowing this, we seek to be discipled and plugged in to the local body. Then we are the ones who are sent - we are all called to the mission field to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every morning that we wake up and get out of bed we have the opportunity to share Jesus Christ to our spouses, children, family. That is a great starting point. Then we step out the front door. The lady at the grocery store, the guy standing in front of us in line, the person at the gym. Everything we get to do for the Lord is a pure blessing.

We are so thankful that Matthew, Gary and Keith are in the Philippines. Everyone is different, and not everyone is called to travel 7,000 miles away from their homes to go share the Gospel message to those who are struggling in a desperate way. But, we are all called to say yes to what God has planned, to His purpose for each one of us. Please continue to pray for us and continue to pray for yourselves. Ask God what He desires from you and where He wants you to get plugged in. Please pray for Matt, Gary, Keith, our partners with RCGGM Ministries, the pastors alliance, and our brothers and sisters in the Philippines.

The following photos show what God did in the two jails we visited yesterday. He saved souls as many accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Between two high schools yesterday, hundreds of students accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Here are just a few pictures below. Please pray for all these new believers.

The photos below are from the breakfast with OCMA the Olongapo pastors' alliance where we reaffirmed our commitment to come alongside our dear brothers and sisters in the Philippines who are here sharing the truth of God's Word to all people.

UPDATE: 3/1

Please pray that the Lord would sustain us in every aspect. RCGGM is in the Philippines all year as it is their home country. Pray the Lord would bring them provisions in Calamba and Calauan. Please pray for:

Pastor Leonard

Pastor Mariano

Marilyn

James Scars

Mary Bell

We are in Olongapo where we are invited to share at the city hall flag raising. We joined the Olongapo Pastor’s Alliance and we visited some schools and prisons. We ask for prayers that many would be reconciled through Christ’s perfect sacrifice and join in the family of believers. God has done amazing things! Thank you for your past prayers. We love you and we pray for you as well. We desire that much would happen for God’s external glory, and He has given us the opportunity to be doers of His word. So please pray on our behalf, and He will do what He intends to do, and it will not be void. Thank you again for your prayers.

The photos below are from the flag raising at the city hall and our time with the Mayor and the Vice Mayor and the many public officials. Hundreds professed faith in Jesus!

The photos below are some pictures from yesterday after the church service. It was a very blessed time of fellowship with our dear brothers and sisters in the Philippines and our ministry partners RCGGM Calamba and Calauan. At the service, 24 people accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. God is so amazing! Please continue praying as your prayers matter!

UPDATE: 2/29

Thank you for all of your prayers! We have already had opportunities to share the Gospel during our travels and we praise God for that. We ask that you specifically lift up our team, our brothers and sisters with RCGGM ministries, as well as the pastor alliances that we will be in partnership with here in the Philippines.

We've been given the opportunity to share this morning to preach a message during a service where multiple congregations are coming together. The hope is that the people invited who have yet to place their faith in Jesus Christ would say yes to the free gift of salvation.

We will be meeting up with the Pastor's alliance here in Calamba to solidify some future arrangements and begin praying for opportunities to serve in Calamba and do festivals here and in the surrounding areas. Your prayers can accomplish much. We will be in prisons and schools, as well as speaking with government officials and people from all backgrounds--everything we do is centered in sharing the Gospel. Please pray that God would sustain us in every area - mentally, physically, spiritually--in every way. We desire for God to be known and for His Word to go forth. His abilities are limitless and endless. We love you all and are praying for you.

UPDATE: 2/28

We are taking off for the Philippines! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER. Our first stop is Narita Japan and then we are on to the Philippines. ALL FOR GODS GLORY AND HIS KINGDOM UNTIL HE RETURNS OR CALLS US HOME Please continue to pray for us.

We are looking forward to our next trip to the Philippines in the Spring. With a team of 20-30 people, we will enter schools, Treatment facilities, provincial jails, prisons, and local churches, sharing the gospel wherever we go. During this week of ministry, we invite the community to a festival at the end of the trip. Over the course of our two years of service in the Philippines, we have seen over 4,500 people give their lives to the Lord. We pray that God will be glorified in the upcoming festival, and that it will again bring the lost to Jesus Christ.
