God Is on the Move: July Highlights from Be Bold Street Ministries
This July has been a powerful testimony of what God is doing through the Body of Christ; on the streets, in summer schools, churches, recovery homes, and even across the country. From Salem to Portland, from Eugene to Queens, New York, our teams have witnessed the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Youth in our community are being served, encouraged, and pointed to Christ. Partnerships with programs like Barbara Roberts, churches like Mountain View in Aumsville, and faithful food warriors like Joaquin from Nachos Locos are helping us meet real needs in Jesus' name. At every turn, the Spirit of God is moving, drawing prodigals home, opening hearts to salvation, and uniting believers to love boldly.
Through events like We See You in Salem and Eugene, hundreds have heard the Gospel, been baptized, and connected with local churches. Discipleship moments are happening over tacos, ribs, and coffee shop tables because making disciples doesn’t need a stage, just surrendered hearts. One thing remains: this is all for God’s glory and His Kingdom. YOUR PRAYERS MATTER! As 2 Corinthians 6 reminds us, now is the day of salvation. Let’s keep loving our neighbors, walking with beautiful feet to the streets, and lifting high the name of Jesus.
July Recap from our journeys:
July 1st: Praise God! We love being able to come alongside youth in our community. This is something we’ve done for many years. We are so thankful to our sisters in Christ with the Barbara Roberts program. Through Jesus Christ we’re helping the youth with food needs as they make up some credits at summer school so they can graduate this year. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 2nd: Met with some of our family at Mountain View Church in Aumsville was super blessed. Excited to get out together at the upcoming We See You event and love our neighbors. Beautiful feet to the streets. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!

July 5th: Today, in Portland, Oregon, beautiful feet from multiple churches all a part of The Church took to the streets to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, with many neighbors. One of the many moments today was with Titi, Jabari, and Jamal, all of whom believed in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for salvation and the forgiveness of their sins. Please pray for our new brothers and sister in Christ. They received new Bibles and were connected with the local church. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
2 Corinthians 6 verse 2 For he says:
At an acceptable time I listened to you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.
See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!
Mark 12 verse 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. 31 The second is, Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other command greater than these.”
July 9th: Thank You God for this moment with my brother in Christ. My brother Joaquin is making 600 amazing tacos for the We See You event this Saturday in Salem. Go hit Joaquin up at NACHOS LOCOS on Devonshire off Lancaster. This brother has been a part of making thousands and thousands of amazing tacos for BBSM to take out to folks on the streets in Salem for many years. Please pray for him and his family. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 12th: Praise God! Today at the We See You event many people believed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God for salvation and the forgiveness of their sins. Many prodigals came home in repentance today as well. We had multiple people make their public declaration of faith through Baptism. There were so many churches and ministries represented by way of family from the Body of Christ from all over Oregon in downtown Salem today being about the great commission. There were so many helpful services available for folks to engage with. Lots of folks engaged in these helpful services. Please check out the flyer in this post to see some of the Churches, Ministries, and organizations that were there today. A huge shout to the amazing folks who provided all the food today, Cindy Lou's BBQ, Millers BBQ, Nachos Locos, and Kona Ice. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
Praise God! Today at the We See You event. We had two brothers in Christ and two sisters in Christ make their public declaration of faith in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today through Baptism. Congratulations Charlie, Mary, Melissa, and Jackson. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 18th: Thank You God for this moment with my brothers Jacori and Daniel! Iron sharpening iron. Making disciples of Jesus Christ. A great time of fellowship and conversation about what we're learning from our time in the Word of God/The Bible. And we're grateful and excited about what God has done, is doing, and what He promises He is gonna do in our lives. Thank you, Adam’s Ribs, for a welcoming environment and excellent food! All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 21th: Thank You God for this moment with my brother Pastor Ray. We will be hitting the streets with him in Newark New Jersey next week. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 23th: Hey family! A bunch of folks coming alongside some of our neighbors at one of the Oxford homes here in Salem today. They all could use your prayers. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 25th: Praise God! Two teams today made up of Soaring Heights Recovery Homes, Safety Compass, WVP, Ideal Options, LEAD, Morrison Child and Family Services all out walking the highways and byways. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 26th: We See You Event Eugene! Praise God! Today at Grace Fellowship Church we had our “We See You” event in Eugene. Many people were saved by grace through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God. The folks that got saved we’re connected directly to the local Body of Christ. We had multiple people make their public declaration of their faith through baptism. Many people engaged in helpful service that were on site. Family from Grace Fellowship Church, Calvary Chapel Salem, Salem Heights Church, Jefferson Baptist, Solid Rock Community Church, Gateway Foursquare Church, and Northwood Christian Church all came together to be about the great commission. Thank you to the Gideons, Provoking Hope, Ones Purpose, Sports Clips, Department of Human Services, Morrison Child and Family Services, and Easter Seals. A huge shout out to Cindy Lou’s BBQ for providing 400 excellent meals! Kona Ice was also a fun treat for all the folks. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 28th: Hey folks! We’re headed to NYC and NJ to hit the streets with a bunch of our family in Christ. Will be in multiple cities sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God. It would be a great blessing if you all would pray for us.
July 29th: Praise God! Today hittin the streets in multiple locations sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ side by side with our family from The Rock Christian Fellowship in New Jersey. Today people were saved and forgiven of their sins by grace through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God! All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
July 31st:Praise God! Yesterday was a fruitful day in Queens with our family from Calvary Chapel At The Cross! The one and only Gospel of Jesus Christ was shared with hundreds and hundreds of neighbors. All for God’s glory and His Kingdom! YOUR PRAYERS MATTER!
