June was a powerful month of ministry, and we just want to say, Praise God! for what He allowed us to be a part of! From the streets of Eugene, Portland, Woodburn, and right here in Salem, to men’s breakfasts, conferences, and gatherings of believers, we saw the Gospel of Jesus Christ go forth with boldness and love. People said yes to Jesus, lives were transformed, chains were broken, and the Church came together in unity like never before. We watched God move in real time; folks getting off the streets, into recovery, and into new life with Christ. Testimonies poured in from Mexico, the UGM, and local outreaches, all reminding us that no one is too far gone for Jesus. Every moment, every conversation, every prayer, it all mattered. And I want to thank each one of you who prayed, partnered, and showed up. It’s all for His glory and His Kingdom!

The Vine and the Branches: John 15:1-8

A testimony from Ben Kibler:
"That particular night in Querétaro, God showed up in a miraculous way. I had just finished sharing my testimony, interwoven with the passage from Titus 3:3-8. The night sky was electrically charged with an oncoming storm, displaying flashes of lightning and booms of thunder. Danny and I were walking back to return the microphones when a gentleman stopped me. He told me that he had brought a young man living on the streets who was struggling with drugs and alcohol and asked if we would speak with him.
I said, 'Absolutely,' and together Danny and I approached Carlos as he sat on a park bench. Immediately, we could smell the strong odor of a chemical substance he had been huffing, along with alcohol. I began to share my testimony with him through Danny’s interpretation, speaking of the free gift of salvation through Jesus.
As we shared the gospel, Carlos became increasingly unsettled. His head slumped and turned in various directions, and he was unable to mutter a word in Spanish—or any other language. His eyes were dark; all you could see were the whites and his large black pupils. He continued to shrill and moan, his breathing labored as we spoke to him about Jesus.
Around that time, more of our team gathered, and we began to pray loudly for our brother—to be set free and to know the love of our risen Savior, Jesus, who was sent to pay the full price for our past, present, and future sins for all who choose to believe in Him and what He did.
The prayers gradually quieted, and Ruth looked up at Matthew and asked, 'Do you have anything to say to Carlos?'
Matthew said, 'Yes,' then got eye-level with Carlos and asked, 'Do you believe that Jesus lived as a man, was tempted in every way but resisted sin perfectly, was crucified on a cross, died and was buried for three days, and that God resurrected Him for the forgiveness of your sins?'
Ruth translated.
Matthew followed with, 'Sí or no? Sí or no?'
Carlos proclaimed, 'Sí!'
Immediately, as if someone had pulled a battery out of his back, Carlos slumped over, and the demonic spirit residing in him fled.
Within minutes, Carlos sat up and was able to hold fluent conversation with us. His demeanor completely changed. We ordered him some tacos and water, exchanged hugs, and welcomed our new brother in Christ into the family. There were a few takeaways from this experience:
No one is too far gone for Jesus! Where the Holy Spirit resides, demons cannot. Whoever confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart that Jesus is Lord will be saved! Romans 10:9-11 NIV[9] If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.[10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.[11] As Scripture says, 'Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.'"
